How to Prepare for CBSE Physics Practical Class 12?

Preparing for CBSE Physics Practical Class 12 is not a difficult task if you follow some simple tips and tricks. Here are some of them:

  • Read the theory and principle behind each experiment and activity before performing it. This will help you to understand the aim, procedure, and observations of the experiment better.

  • Practice all the experiments and activities given in the syllabus at least once in your school laboratory. This will help you to familiarize yourself with the apparatus, instruments, and techniques involved in the experiment.

  • Maintain a neat and accurate record of your practical work. Write down the aim, theory, procedure, observations, calculations, results, and precautions of each experiment and activity in your practical file. Also, include diagrams, graphs, tables, and charts wherever necessary.

  • Prepare an innovative and original investigatory project on any topic related to physics. Follow the guidelines given by your teacher and CBSE for making your project report. Also, prepare a working model or a demonstration of your project if possible.

  • Revise all the experiments and activities before your practical exam. Also, prepare for the possible questions that can be asked in your viva. You can refer to some sample questions and answers from here.

  • Be confident and calm during your practical exam. Follow the instructions given by your examiner and perform the experiment carefully and accurately. Explain your observations and results clearly and logically. Answer the viva questions with honesty and clarity.
