He asked the Brahmin to throw his son into the pond so that they could get married. The Brahmin did as he was told and threw the well into the pond. The well broke into pieces and all the water spilled out. The Brahmin realized that he had been fooled by Tenali Raman and lost his well.

सुनहर पध
This story is about how Tenali Raman saved the king from a cunning magician who wanted to take over his kingdom. The magician came to the king's court and showed him a golden plant that he claimed could produce gold coins every day. He said that he would give the plant to the king if he agreed to give him half of his kingdom in return. The king was tempted by the offer and agreed. He asked Tenali Raman to take care of the plant and collect the gold coins every day. Tenali Raman suspected that there was something fishy about the plant and decided to investigate. He found out that the plant was fake and it had a hidden mechanism that released gold coins from inside it. He also discovered that the magician had an accomplice who would come at night and refill the plant with gold coins. Tenali Raman exposed the magician's trick and proved that he was a fraud. The king realized his mistake and thanked Tenali Raman for saving him from losing his kingdom.

He would often make vows to God that he would do something good if God helped him in some way, but he never kept his vows. One day, he made a vow that he would fast for three days if God helped him find his lost donkey. God helped him find his donkey, but Mulla Nasiruddin did not fast as he had promised. He ate food secretly and lied to everyone that he was fasting. Tenali Raman came to know about his friend's dishonesty and decided to teach him a lesson. He invited Mulla Nasiruddin to his house for dinner on the third day of his supposed fast. Mulla Nasiruddin accepted the invitation, thinking that he would eat at night after breaking his fast. When he reached Tenali Raman's house, he saw that there was a feast prepared for him. He was delighted and sat down to eat. But before he could take a bite, Tenali Raman stopped him and said that he had made a vow to God that he would not eat anything until Mulla Nasiruddin completed his fast. He said that he had prepared all this food for Mulla Nasiruddin as a reward for his devotion, but he could not eat it himself until Mulla Nasiruddin finished his fast. Mulla Nasiruddin realized that he had been caught in his own trap and felt ashamed of himself. He confessed his lie and apologized to Tenali Raman and God.
