Vishnu Purana in Tamil PDF Free 12

The Vishnu Purana is one of the 18 Mahapuranas, a genre of ancient and medieval texts of Hinduism. It is an important Pancharatra text in the Vaishnavism literature corpus. The Vishnu Purana presents its contents in five sections: Sarga (cosmogony), Pratisarga (cosmology), Vamsha (genealogy of the gods, sages and kings), Manvantara (cosmic cycles), and Vamshanucarita (legends during the times of various kings). The Vishnu Purana is among the shorter Purana texts, with about 7,000 verses in extant versions. It primarily centers around Vishnu and his avatars such as Krishna, but it praises Brahma and Shiva and asserts that they are one with Vishnu.

Tamil is a Dravidian language natively spoken by the Tamil people of South Asia. It has the oldest extant literature among Dravidian languages. The earliest Tamil writing is attested in inscriptions and potsherds from the 5th century BCE. The Tamil writing system evolved from the Brahmi script. The major addition to the alphabet was the incorporation of Grantha letters to write unassimilated Sanskrit words.
